Car Transport Birmingham

Birmingham City Centre Collections and the Clean Air Zone

City-centre jobs need a little more thought when it comes to how the vehicle is being moved.

Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone covers the area inside the A4540 Middleway and operates 24 hours a day. The Middleway itself is outside the zone. Non-compliant vehicles driven within the zone can be subject to a daily charge unless an exemption applies. Birmingham City Council

There is an important difference between transporter delivery and trade plate work.

If your car is being carried on a transporter, the car itself is not being driven through the zone. With trade plate delivery, the vehicle being moved is driven on the road, so its emissions status may affect whether a Clean Air Zone charge applies. Birmingham City Council

For collections or deliveries near the city centre, the full postcode helps us understand where the vehicle is and what the job involves before we set off.

Car Delivery for Buyers, Sellers and Motor Traders

Buying a car from another part of the country is easy enough. Getting it home can be the awkward part.

Our car delivery service in Birmingham takes care of that side of the purchase. We can collect the vehicle and bring it into Birmingham without you having to arrange a lift, spend half a day on trains or ask somebody else to drive it back.

The same applies when you sell a car. We can collect it in Birmingham and arrange delivery to the new owner elsewhere in the UK.

For dealers, we move individual vehicles and larger groups depending on what needs collecting.

Enclosed and Specialist Car Transport Birmingham

A classic, prestige or sports car may need more thought before it goes anywhere near a transporter.

Ride height matters, as does the running condition and how the vehicle needs to be loaded. If the car sits particularly low or does not run, those details affect the type of equipment needed at collection.

We offer enclosed car transport in Birmingham for customers who want the vehicle kept under cover. The car travels inside the transporter, keeping it away from weather and road debris during the trip.

This type of covered car transport suits classic cars, sports cars, supercars and prestige vehicles where the owner wants more protection during the move.

At Nick065, we handle both standard and specialist car transportation, so we can look at the vehicle itself before deciding on the setup.

Multi-Car Transport and Vehicle Delivery

Moving several cars one at a time means more drivers, more collections and more organising.

For motor traders, businesses or customers moving several vehicles, we use multi-car transporters where the job suits it.

This might be stock leaving Birmingham for another site, several vehicles being brought into the area or a group of cars going to the same destination.

Give us the number of vehicles and the collection and delivery points when you ask for a price. We can then work out whether multi-car transport is the practical option.

Trade Plate Vehicle Delivery Birmingham

If the car is roadworthy, it does not always need to travel on a transporter.

Our vehicle delivery service in Birmingham includes trade plate delivery, where the car is driven from the collection address to its destination.

This works well for straightforward roadworthy vehicles where transporter-based movement is not needed. It is available for dealer work, private vehicle sales and other suitable deliveries across the UK and Europe.

For Birmingham city-centre jobs, the Clean Air Zone is one thing we need to consider if the vehicle itself will be driven within the charging area.

UK-Wide and European Car Transport

Birmingham works well as a collection or delivery point for longer-distance jobs, with the M6, M5, M42 and M40 connecting the city with routes heading north, south and across the Midlands.

We move vehicles between Birmingham and locations across mainland UK. European car movements are available too when the destination is further afield.

You might see this type of service described as car shipping, car transportation or vehicle delivery. For our UK work, the vehicle is moved by road using the method that suits the job.

That could be a recovery truck, trailer, multi-car transporter, enclosed transporter or trade plate delivery.

Short-Notice Car and Vehicle Transport

Vehicle plans sometimes change quickly. A purchase completes sooner than expected, a sold car needs collecting or a vehicle simply needs moving at short notice.

We take on short-notice transport jobs where availability allows.

Nick065 also works with a wider network of transport providers for UK coverage when a job cannot be handled directly by us. The existing service states that this network covers locations throughout the UK. If the timing is tight, let us know the required collection date when you enquire.
