Car Transport Routes From Glasgow

Glasgow sits directly on some of Scotland’s main road routes.

A non-compliant car cannot simply be driven through the zone and pay a daily charge. Glasgow’s scheme restricts entry based on emissions standards, with penalties issued when non-compliant vehicles enter.

If the car is being carried on a transporter, the transported vehicle itself is not being driven through the zone. The transporter being used still needs to meet the rules that apply to it.

Trade plate delivery is different. If your car itself will be driven through the Glasgow LEZ, its emissions standard needs to be taken into account before collection.

Dealer collections work in much the same way. Once we know where the vehicle is and who is releasing it, we can arrange the vehicle collection and delivery around those details.

For a roadworthy car, trade plate delivery may be an option. If you do not want the car driven, we can look at transporter delivery instead.
